Undergraduate AI Researcher @ UD
Engineered a sophisticated medical AI tool that transforms user-inputted information into accurate patient vignettes. This tool leverages the Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) technique to effectively mitigate bias in large language models (LLMs). I also implemented advanced evaluation techniques for text summarization performed by Transformers, incorporating BLEU and ROUGE metrics to assess the correlation between patient context and the generated vignettes.
RoomieUD (Hackathon Winning Project @ HenHacks)
A Tinder-inspired app that uses Euclidean geometry algorithms and numerical point-based questionnaires to find compatible roommates with incredibly accurate results.
Sensor Developer/Researcher @ DSU
Funded by DoD & NSF. Utilized Python and a Raspberry-Pi to configure an OPC-N3 optical sensor to output PM readings with user-editable features.
SurgiScan (1st Place @ HopHacks, Patient Safety Technology Category)
A YOLOv5-powered application that leverages computer vision to accurately detect and track surgical tools in real-time during procedures, preventing them from being left inside the body.

An AI-driven disaster management system that leverages drones to reach inaccessible areas during emergencies. Features include S.O.S. requests, automated footage analysis, and a community-driven aid exchange platform for disaster victims.
